Fiber-reinforced polymer(FRP), also known as fiber-reinforced plastic, is a composite material consisting of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers. Commonly used fibers include glass, carbon, and aramid, although materials like paper, wood, and asbestos have also been utilized in specific cases.

The polymer matrix typically comprises epoxy, vinyl ester, or polyester thermosetting plastics, with phenol formaldehyde resins still being used in certain applications. FRPs are widely applied across industries such as aerospace, automotive, marine, and construction.
